Apart from the Zambezi River many miles away, Kanga Pan is a sole source of water in dry season, making it an absolute haven for Zimbabwe wildlife, bringing them right to your doorstep.
The camp comprises of six tents all raised on a wooden platform for an elevated view over the Kanga Pan. Each Meru-styled tent is simple yet elegant, boasting floor-to-ceiling mesh windows to let in ample natural light and a light breeze. All tents are complete with en suite bathroom, flushing toilet, outdoor showers, hot running water and a secluded veranda. Kanga Camp has a family tent which boasts a wraparound terraces facing the pan with private seating and dining areas. Relax in the upper deck lounge under the shade of a mahogany tree or sit on the deck below near the splash pool and soak in the uninterrupted views of Kanga Pan’s hyperactive watering hole – the perfect “armchair safari”.

This diverse area has multiple vlei lines and mixed woodland types from Mopane woodland to Jesse bush and riverine forests. Besides game drives and bird watching, Mana Pools is excellent for experiencing walking safari experiences. Kanga works well in collaboration with Zambezi Expeditions where you can enjoy the excitement of canoeing and fishing on the Zambezi River.
Facilities
This area of Zimbabwe is very hard to access during the rainy season as the dry riverbeds fill with rainwater flowing from the escarpments. As a result, Kanga Camp is only open in the shoulder and dry seasons from April through to the end of November.

This price is submitted directly by the hotel for the arrival date chosen and is shown in the name of the hotel. Available emporium-collection™ last-minute, seasonal, weekend or special prices will be considered automatically during the booking.
If you want to make a booking after your availability search, you will have to fill in personal details about you and your credit card details. The credit card details are required to guarantee your booking, the charges will be made by the hotel. If you are logged in to your account the personal details will be pre-filled.
