A party that occupies more than 60% of the beds on any given night is considered a group and special rates and T&Cs apply
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required year- round if guests are doing one activity in Volcanoes National Park during their stay, or 3 nights if doing 2 activities.
The check-in time at both Singita Kwitonda Lodge and Kataza House is 1pm, and check-out time at Kwitonda Lodge is strictly 11am; and at, Kataza House, check-out is strictly at 10am. No activities at Volcanoes National Park can be booked on the day of departure. This includes
gorilla trekking,Golden monkey treks, hikes to the volcanoes and the hike to Dian Fosseys gravesite. Should guests wish to participate in Park activities on their last day, they need to book an additional night. There are no day-use facilities at Singita Volcanoes National Park for guests who have already checked out.
Gorialla Trekking - Permits are subject to availability at the time of booking. The minimum age requirement is 15. Proof of payment for the permit needs to be received within 24 hours, and passport details no later than 60 days prior to travel.

Group bookings, rates, payment and cancellation terms need to be negotiated on an ad hoc basis. Important to note here though is that a Group is deemed as such if the party occupies more than 60% of the beds at any given lodge.

Standard bookings
Provisional reservations may be held for 14 days, thereafter must be released or confirmed with a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance of payment is due on guest departure.
Penalty of 25% of the total reservation value if cancelled up to 61 days prior to arrival
Penalty of 100% penalty if cancelled 60 days or less prior to arrival

Festive Season bookings (15 December 5 January annually)
Provisional reservations may be held for 14 days, thereafter must be released or confirmed with a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance of payment is due guest departure
In the event of any confirmed reservation being cancelled during the Festive Season, defined as 15 December 5 January annually, the following cancellation fees will be charged
Penalty of 50% of the total reservation value if cancelled up to 121 days prior to arrival
Penalty of 100% of total reservation value if cancelled 120 days or less prior to arrival

2022
